INSTRUCTOR: In this video, I want to do an angle conversion problem for you, converting from radian measurement to degree measurement. So we have the radian angle negative 7 pi over 4. It doesn't matter that it's negative. It's not going to change how we work the problem. We're going to multiply by the fraction 180 over pi. The dividing by pi here allows the pi's to cancel out. So we have negative 7 times 180 divided by 4. Now, you can simply use a calculator to do this computation. Or you might be able to do some of the reducing yourself if the numbers are easy enough. 4 goes into 180 45 times. A negative 7 times 45 is negative 315 degrees.
