[Calm piano music]
Speaker 1: Diversity means to me acceptance
just being accepted into the crowd, into the conversations,
into life itself.
Speaker 2: Understanding that every individual is unique,
the languages that they speak,
the costumes they wear, the culture that they follow.
Speaker 3: Diversity isn't just about including
a couple of black and Asian faces,
but it's about the diversity of human experiences.
Speaker 4: Inclusion for me is when you
make people feel part of it,
a group, in work, the family, with friends.
Speaker 5: American Express is different.
You're evaluated based on what you can contribute,
and not what you look like,
or what your gender is, or how old you are.
Speaker 3: As a culture, and as a community,
I would say that Amex is a safe one,
and one that's evolving to accurately reflect the world around us.
Speaker 6: This is a place where you can authentically be who you are.
Speaker 5: It's representative of how the world is.
Speaker 1: There's always a place everywhere for everyone.
I found mine at Amex.
I found a culture, a company,
people around me that will accept me for who I am.
Speaker 2: You cannot fight hate with hate.
You can only fight it with love.
You know, self-respect and self-love are critical
if you want to show love and respect to somebody else.
That was a little more honest than I thought it would be.
