NARRATOR: Adding text to a slide. Placeholders are positioned on slides by default according to the selected layout. To add text to a placeholder, click once on the placeholder. [CLICK] The insertion point will appear inside the placeholder, and you can enter text. When you are finished, click outside the placeholder. [CLICK] To delete a placeholder text box, click inside the placeholder to select it. [CLICK] Then, click on the border of the placeholder, and press the Delete key. A text box allows you to add text where a placeholder doesn't exist. To add a text box, so that the text appears on one line, click on the Insert tab. [CLICK] Click the text box button in the text group. [CLICK] Click once in the slide to create the text box. [CLICK] Enter text in the text box, and click outside the text box when you are finished. You can also add a text box in which the text will wrap from one line to the next. Click on the Insert tab. [CLICK] Click the text box button in the text group, then click and drag the mouse pointer on to the slide to create a text box with a set width into your text in the text box, click outside the box when you are finished.
