[MUSIC PLAYING] NARRATOR: So in this video, I'm going to show you how to put in some text effects onto some text that you have. So you want to be up top in the home ribbon. And this is the button we're going to be using right here. So if you hover over it, you can see it says text effects. So let's do this here so you can see. I'm going to highlight this, so I'm going to go into the text effects. And you can see I can add things like an outline. I can add a shadow to different things. So let me show you. Here's a shadow. You can see it added. And it's a little hard to see here. Let me try to zoom in for you to see there. So added a little bit of a shadow to it. What else can you do? You can put a reflection so that it reflects down. So now I have this reflection, and I still have that shadow. I can add a glow to it as well and make it neon. So there's a couple different things that you can do to add a little bit of a pop to your stuff there. So I would not-- let me go and just take away-- no shadow. Take away some of these things because you don't want to go crazy and put in a bunch of different things. I would say one effect is really all that you need, so you just want to do one of these things. Otherwise, it's just going to make things a little too complicated and make your assignment or whatever you're doing just a little over the top. So I hope that was helpful.
