Netiquette for Online Classes
Hi, I’m Teacher Chay! Here are some practices to keep in mind during online classes.
1. Be on time.
2. Mute your microphone when you are not speaking.
3. Show respect to the speaker by listening attentively and communicate politely.
4. If you have questions or concerns to raise, use the chat box section or ask permission to the speaker before you speak.
5. Always wear decent attire when on a video conference.
6. Check your internet / wifi data connections, your headset, microphone, and camera.
7. Stay focused. Avoid multi-tasking.
8. Always have a back-up plan.
9. Speak at a normal tone of voice. Avoid yelling or shouting.
10. Do not leave the conference room without permission.
Most importantly, do not forget to enjoy and have fun while learning.
Thank you for watching!
